Manager of the PAYS-BASQUES & LANDES agencies
After business school and a postgraduate diploma in marketing, Julie honed her skills as a fine negotiator with major groups such as L'Oréal, Unilever and Laboratoires Expanscience. 15 years ago, she was offered the chance to try her hand at corporate real estate...
Far from the world of beauty and well-being, she now invests in warehouses, workshops, offices, etc. These unusual sites gradually lead her to the Ateliers Lofts & Associés group, which she decided to join 13 years ago by developing the agency of the same name on the Basque coast. Sensitive to architecture and design (with a soft spot for the 70's), she practises her profession relentlessly, with passion.
In July 2020, still with the same fervour, Julie decided to open a new agency in Capbreton in order to meet the growing demand in the Landes.
She took the gamble of finding remarkable properties inland and working on architecture not far from the ocean, thus covering a large area.
A successful gamble! Many of our clients, both buyers and sellers, have placed their trust in us in this area, which is full of architectural nuggets!
Hyper-active and in search of sensations, she does not hesitate to risk extraordinary experiences with 2 "Roses des Sables" trophies and a trek in the Moroccan desert to her credit. Next challenge: The Aicha des Gazelles rally in September 2021.
Marketing and Sales Coordinator / PAYS-BASQUE & LANDES AGENCY

To contribute to the development of the Biarritz agency by putting her experience to good use, she joined her elder sister, the manager of the structure, 7 years ago. Creating events, developing communication tools, supporting the team in sales... Multiple actions for the benefit of the agency, always carried out with the utmost rigour!

Originally from Australia, Jack, 49, is the latest addition to our all-girls team in Biarritz.
His background: after spending 8 years in the world of finance at the Sydney Stock Exchange, this former trader decided to devote himself fully to his passion: rugby. An amateur player at the time, he was recruited in 2000 to play for Biarritz (Biarritz Olympique) and then for Section Paloise as a professional. He then became a coach for 12 years: 10 years with the B.O. including 2 years as team manager / 2 years with the Hong Kong club (Vallee RFC).
Today it is a new future that is taking shape for this former high level sportsman who chose the world of real estate for his reconversion. Attached to the concept and values of Ateliers Lofts & Associés, it was an obvious choice for him to join our brand.
Passion, determination, perseverance and humility are the values that characterize Jack and that make this new collaborator with an atypical background, an outstanding teammate!
Negotiator / LANDES AGENCY
Carole, an explosive Basque-Landes mix! With a diploma in architecture (DPLG) in her pocket, she worked for 10 years in two architectural firms in Toulouse. It is with enthusiasm and motivation that she decided to participate in the Landes adventure Ateliers, Lofts & Associés in July 2020. One year later she does not regret her choice... quite the contrary!

This young woman of 33 years old, originally from the Aveyron region, graduated from the Montpellier business school and first worked in the telephone sector as a salesperson.
After a 6 month stay in Australia to improve her English and see the country, M.J (as she is known) settled on the Atlantic coast where she first joined a local press group and then moved into the real estate sector. After 5 years spent within 2 large brands and strongly attracted by the unique concept of our brand, she decided to join our group to put her experience to good use.
This passionate dancer/yoga/pilate trio, traveller and decorator will accompany you in a very professional way in all your real estate projects.

A master of the discipline, Tadao Ando never attended architecture school, as he was predestined for a career as a boxer in his teens. Nevertheless, his natural curiosity led him to regularly visit craftsmen's workshops, which revealed in him a taste for assembly, design and attention to detail.
While opening an architecture book, he discovered by chance the buildings of Le Corbusier. He had a revelation and decided to undertake a long journey of initiation in the footsteps of his mentor. In 1965, he went to France and visited successively theVilla Savoyein Poissy and theCité radieusein Marseille. He was confronted with what was to become his favourite material, his architectural signature: concrete.
Upon his return to Japan in 1969, he decided to found his agency in Osaka, where he first devoted himself to the construction of individual houses. His first building, the Villa Azuma, received the Japan Architecture Institute Prize in 1979. This house is the source of his success and has been the headquarters of his studio ever since.
In his work, Tadao Ando seeks to design places where serenity and harmony reign supreme. Religious buildings, cultural sites and artistic foundations: he uses a reduced palette of materials and a formal vocabulary of great sobriety, which can be seen in the forty or so projects he has completed.
Tadao Ando is particularly passionate about the technique of reinforced concrete, which has become his trademark. He even developed his own concrete formula to make it smooth and delicate while retaining its raw appearance.
The architect also has an enlightened look at the confrontation of building and light. The "Church of Light"(1989) in Osaka or the "Koshino House" (1984) in Kobe, are examples of how this ingredient reveals an architectural work to the visitor."I always ask myself how I could design things that remain engraved in the souls of users for eternity. »
Throughout his long career, Tadao Ando had the opportunity to create more and more spectacular places, including "The Poly Theater" in Shanghai (2014),"Buddha Hillin Hokkaido (2015) and the"He Art Museum(HEM) in Shunde Guangdong, China (2020).
But it is in Japan, on the island of Naoshima, that he will carry out his most ambitious project from 1992. In 1992, he created an island museum entirely dedicated to contemporary art, overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. He created an island museum entirely dedicated to contemporary art, overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. Various buildings are scattered around it: the Chichu Museum (2004), the Ando Museum, the Lee Ufan Museum and the luxury hotel Benesse House (1992).
All designed and created by Tadao Ando, these buildings reveal a way to anchor architecture as close as possible to the landscape and thus preserve the surrounding nature. Numerous works by international artists also dot the site, including the famousPumpkinby Yayoi Kusuma, sculptures by Niki de Saint Phalle, as well as rare creations by Sou Fujimoto.by Sou Fujimoto. In this maze of culture, you can wander around on a bicycle to fully enjoy the fertile dialogue between art, architecture and nature.
This monumental work prompted Rolf Fehlbaum, the head of Vitra, to commission the"Conference Pavilionhis first project in Europe on the publisher's campus.on the publisher's campus. In 1995, Tadao Ando was awarded the Pritzker Prize, the "Nobel Prize of architecture".
The magic of Tadao Ando has also found a home at the heart of theChâteau La Costea few kilometres from Aix-en-Provence. In 2011, the owner of the estate, Patrick McKillen, wanted to create a unique place where art and architecture could intimately blend with nature.
The 200 hectares of vineyard and oak forest that enliven the estate invite you to take a walk dotted with works of art and architecture. This complex has welcomed some of the most prestigious international artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Richard Serra, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Alexander Calder, Lee Ufan, Jean-Michel Othoniel, Tracey Emin?in situand thus feed off the local soil.
Tadao Ando worked on the construction of the art centre, the central element of the site, which also houses a restaurant-brasserie that bears his name. The architect restored and modernized the chapel at the top of the hill with aglass crossby Jean-Michel Othoniel. He has also designed a building called "The Cube of Contemplation", where the play of light and shadow plunges visitors into the heart of his work. With this large-scale project, Tadao Ando has made his mark on the French architectural and cultural landscape.
"He is an architect who invents his own language. He has reinvented the language of Le Corbusier in a relationship with Japanese tradition. F. Migayrou
On the occasion of his fifty-year career, a vast retrospective is organized at the Centre Pompidou in Paris in 2018. Frédéric Migayrou, the curator of the exhibition, sums up Tadao Ando with these words:"He is an architect who invents his own language. He has reinvented the language of Le Corbusier in a relationship with Japanese tradition.. »
In the spring of 2021, Tadao Ando's architecture will be seen for the first time in the heart of Paris, with the opening of thePinault Foundationunder construction since the summer of 2017. TheBourse du commercerepresents a link between the original 19th century architecture, restored according to the rules of art, with the aim of smoothly accommodating a 21st century structure. He placed a concrete circle in the centre of the dome, without touching the original building, to allow access to the upper floors.
Businessman François Pinault was delighted with the trust placed in the Japanese architect, to whom he gave the opportunity to build between two emblematic buildings of the capital, the Louvre and the Pompidou Centre. On the occasion of the inauguration, François Pinault said that Tadao Ando had made him change his view of concrete, which over the course of the 20th century has become a noble material with which it is possible to construct exceptional buildings.
A material magnified by Tadao Ando's eminently Japanese sense of purity."Everything that is necessary is there, everything that is superfluous is no longer there, as in minimal art," concludes François Pinault.concludes François Pinault.
